Amanda "Mandi" Alvarado
I am a prominent Disability Justice advocate, influencer, and organizational leader with a deep commitment to advancing accessibility and inclusion. As the founder of Intersectional Access LLC, I provide expert guidance through engaging workshops, thought-provoking presentations, and strategic sessions designed to promote Disability justice and enhance organizational accessibility practices. My consultancy reflects a dedication to fostering more inclusive environments through tailored solutions.

Drawing from my lived experience as a Christian, Latina, disabled woman within the LGBTQ+ community, I offer a rich understanding of intersectionality, which informs my advocacy and approach to inclusivity. My perspective enhances my efforts to address the needs of diverse communities and promote equitable practices.

Certified in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the Institute of Nonprofit Practice, I have 10 years of experience in executive leadership at nonprofit organizations. From championing inclusive fitness and recreational programs for children and young adults with disabilities to supporting women and their families in overcoming urgent challenges, I utilize my experiences from these diverse roles and impactful initiatives to be a leading advocate for Disability inclusion and justice, driving positive change and fostering a more equitable world.
